‘Psych or the Priest’ is a reflection on the turbulent nature of dealing with anxiety and depression. There is a feeling of sinking associated with anxiety where you feel you are drowning or can't breathe. You struggle to swim in a sea of depression and the uneasy feeling of not wanting to exist haunts your mind.
'Psych or the Priest' was born in the midst of this anxiety and depression. Not doing life particularly well and left asking am I the victim or the culprit. It is not a conclusion, nor an answer. It is simply the sitting in the rawness of life.
There is a much needed place for trying to resolve these tensions and deal with the issues but sometimes its ok just to sit and feel things.

I wish this ship in my chest would just sink.
I hate the feeling of sinking,
It’s like breathing and drinking.
But it’s all that I can do.
It’s all that I can do right now.
Cause I don’t know which ways up or down.

Into this train I fell, and currently sit.
